Following a competitive tender, Northern Construction Solutions were appointed as Preferred Contractor to develop the concept scheme and to achieve the client’s requirements within budget. On completing this phase, a contract was awarded for design and construction.
The project is to provide a child care facility for staff and college students working at the new stadium, suitable for all ages of children from babies to pre-school. Also incorporated are public toilets and office facilities for park rangers.
The building is designed to be compatible with the park land in which it is set and with the adjacent award winning Hull Stadium and Sports Arena.
As well as visual appearance, a high standard of external and internal finishes is specified.
