The project involved the drainage, hard landscaping and access roads for a new school at Washington, Tyne & Wear.
The works required the installation of approximately 1100m of surface water drainage including a new GRP pumping station and 225m² of a Geo Cell Soakaway System. A new access road was constructed into the school along with external block, flag and tarmac paving. The scheme also include the construction of an all weather Multi Use Games Area (M.U.G.A) and children's soft play and adventure play areas.
The contract was programmed to meet strict deadlines, with Northern Consruction Solutions working closely with the main contractor the works were completed on schedule.
